About the Ficksburg Tourism ForumThe Ficksburg Tourism Forum was established in March 2003 as a non-profit organisation. It's main business is to assist in promoting Ficksburg and the immediate district as a unique South African tourist destination. The forum aims to unite tourism related organisations in Ficksburg and to act as a spokesperson and ombudsperson for these organisations. All it's members are tourism related product owners and interested residence, who pay a small annual membership fee to the forum, only covering costs for postage and newsletters throughout the year. In 2005 the forum transformed to represent not just the predominantly white owned product owners, but also to promote tourism in previously disadvantaged communties. |
